~All our Sunday school workers over the age of 18 years required to submit to a background check~
We have Nursery care and discipleship classes for our 9:00am service, however the following information refers to our 10:45 Service.
Nursery: Birth -2 years
Our Nursery Supervisor is Ann Armenta. She and her team of loving volunteers have transformed our nursery into a peaceful and loving environment. Babies and toddlers enjoy age approriate activities and lessons, plus a lot of tender loving care!
3 year olds
This class helps to bridge the gap between the nursery and the pre-kindergarteners. We use Gospel Light curriculum to teach our Bible stories and enhance our playtime.
Pre-K and Kindergarten
Pre-K and Kindergarten meet together in room 26 with the Mr. Mark and Mrs.Gayle, Mrs, Willson and Ms. Veronica. Your child is in for a real treat here, our pre-K and Kindergarten teachers are our most experienced sunday school teachers with many years of experience.
1st-3rd grade
1st-3rd graders meet at "Discipleship Dock" on the south side of the building with ither Mrs. Pam or Miss. Lauren. The Dock is an extra large room with nautical themed decorations. Your kids will enjoy curriculum -based opening activities, then transition into a time of worship, Bible lessons and sometimes they will have skits, puppets or other multi-media lessons.
Shark Street - 4th & 5th Grade
Mrs. Darlene and Mr. Joe with Mr. & Mrs. Thomas lead the 4th and 5th graders at "Shark Street" -room 28. But before class begins, the kids join the adults in the sanctuary for worship, They may sit with their parents during worship, or join their classmates and teachers in the front, right side of the sanctuary. Immediately after worship our Sharks go to room 28 for lessons and activities.
Did you know that most sharks breath by having water pass over their gills as they move forward? This means in order to stay alive and breathing, sharks have to constantly keep moving, just as we need to be constantly moving forward in our race with Christ.

I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection! But I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ Jesus saved me for and wants me to be.
