MOVING WITH GOD

Have you ever struggled with obedience? Sometimes the harder you try, the worse things get. Do you dig yourself into a deeper and deeper hole filled with should’s and ought’s until you just quit trying?

There is a better way. Jesus said that his yoke was easy and his burden was light. That sounds strange to most of us, but  only because we are usually trying to serve and obey God in our own strength.  Join us for this Men’s Retreat and see if we can’t help you experience new freedom in your walk with God. We will pursue new freedoms and take plenty of time for prayer, worship, sharing, communion, and time alone.

I encourage every man in our church to join us. There is great power in men gathering to seek the Lord. I know that you will be deeply affected.

Each year a group of guys begins the retreat on Friday morning with a round of golf. golf

The idea is to start the retreat a little early by hanging out together in golf carts.

We have all levels of players, so think about joining us. It will cost around $50 and we’ll probably play in the Ventura area.

The course is TBA. We have limited space, so sign up immediately.

OR… if you are not a golfer, make your own plans to hang out on Friday with a couple of brothers.
