Vision:
Titus 2 instructs the women of maturity and wisdom to counsel those who are just starting there homemaking path. Our need as women and mother is to be self controlled, pure at heart, kind and submissive. These God given qualities will be explored and nourished through worship, prayer and teachings at DWELL.
DWELL also includes Proverbs 31 it its vision. The call to make the home a priority, no matter what season of life a mother is in is crucial and ME provides classes and instruction on ways to make the residence a home, cultivate the domestic arts and how to utilize our homes for outreach and caring for others.
Titus 2:10 says we (women) are to “adorn” the gospel. DWELL is to help mothers find their own vision within their homes, become better mothers with the help of Christ and to “adorn” the gospel; the most valuable jewel.
Details:
We have two 10-week sessions every year. One in the Spring, usually beginning around February and one in the Fall, usually beginning around September. This is how we spend our Friday mornings together:
10:00-10:30– Fellowship and refreshements in the fellowship hall (map of the building)
10:30-11:00 – Worship
11:30–12:00 - Small group for prayer in small group *classes
12:00 –12:30 - *Class
**childcare is provided for children 12 and under
Cost:
$35.00 - for moms only, no childcare
$45.00 - for moms using childcare
$55.00 - for moms using childcare and kid's classes
(partial and full scholarships are available)
