Moms Equipped

Vision:
The vision of Moms Equipped is to provide meaningful opportunities for women to deepen spiritual intimacy, develop spiritual maturity, and sharpen spiritual sensitivity to God's voice and people's needs...AND have some fun along the way! The heart of this ministry reaches out first to mothers, and extends to ALL women regardless of age, marital/family status, church affiliation, or faith.
HOW?
- We connect with God and other women through worship and prayer, social fellowship, and authentic sharing in order to deepen spiritual intimacy.
- We learn Biblical truths through godly speakers and teachers in order to develop spiritual maturity.
- We serve the church and the community through ministry functions and outreach events in order to sharpen spiritual sensitivity to God's voice and people's needs.
Details:
We have two 10-week sessions every year. One in the Spring, usually beginning around March and one in the Fall, usually beginning around September. This is how we spend our Friday mornings together:
10:00 – worship and speaker in Youth Room (map of the building)
10:50 – fellowship and refreshments
11:15 – *small group classes
12:30 – classes end, **kids are collected

$50.00 - Full or partial scholarships are available as needed.

(818) 322-4612Kimberly joined the Valley Vineyard in the Fall of 2004 after moving to the San Fernando Valley from the Bay Area with her husband, Mark. At the time, she was pregnant with her son, Evan, and eager to connect with other moms. She got plugged into Moms Equipped right away, began developing meaningful friendships, and soon started serving in various ministry roles. God has used Moms Equipped to develop her as a worship leader, class facilitator, speaker, and now ministry coordinator! From her own personal experience, she has discovered that Moms Equipped provides a rich environment to connect with God, connect with other women, and grow as a servant of Christ.
