Monica Leon Moore was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She attended Cleveland Chiropractic School and began her practice in Beverly Hills, eventually moving on to Montebello, where she also taught anatomy and physiology. In 1994 she met her future husband, Jerry Moore, who led her to the Lord. Soon afterwards, Monica was forced to make a drastic change in her career due to complications from a surgery that left her with a chronic back problem. In 2002, Monica and Jerry decided to start a family and Monica found herself on a new journey, being a full time mom to her daughter Lainey. 

 After having Lainey, Monica began to become more and more involved with the church and the children’s ministry. She also began filling in for the church secretary on a regular basis. When the position of church bookkeeper became available, Monica felt this was the direction God was leading her. She had gained experience with her own finances from her chiropractic business, and she had also taken care of her husband’s finances from his job as a self- employed musician. With this experience, as well as her natural knack for crunching numbers, she felt that working with the church’s finances would be the perfect opportunity for her to use her talents to serve God.

 Monica has a sagacious and witty personality. She loves the Lord and is devoted to her family. She and her husband have been happily married for nine years now and are expecting their second child in April of 2008.
